Jim Abe is known for his puns, love of fishing, git-fiddle playing, and desire to serve. Although he was born and raised in W. VA, he lived in Chardon, OH, the snow belt of Ohio, from the age of 12. Never ask him if an event should be cancelled due to snow. He enjoys studying, Google.Earth, and listening to music or watching sports on the internet. He attended Manchester College and Bethany Seminary. He has previously served five churches as pastor or co-pastor. He and Marla have two sons, two wonderful daughter-in-laws and three grandchildren. He spoils their dog, Pacino.
Marla Abe loves to read, garden, and keep up with friends and issues on the internet, especially Facebook. She was born and raised in Nigeria. When her family returned to the US, she attended Central Dauphin East High School. She, too, attended Manchester College, and Bethany Seminary twice once in the 70s and once in the 00s. She loves to study, talk with friends and travel, and has a special heart for missions and African issues. Being Nana to her grands, as she calls them, is one of her big joys in life. This is the sixth church she has served as pastor or co-pastor.
Doris Marks recently retired. She loves her grandchildren, and making everyone comfortable. She worked as a dental assistant for many years. She has been married to Dave for LONG time, and they have two children, and three grandchildren.
Linda Schindledecker is known for her efficiency and kind demeanor. She retired as a supervisor from Century Link. She is great at cleaning, and enjoys being with her family, including sisters, children, step-children and grandchildren. Make sure she gets her morning coffee! Husband Ron and dog Snowball share her house.
