Sunday School

We offer classes for a variety of ages at nine on Sunday morning. Although these are usually by age groups, at least once a month, all ages can attend a class. Presently, the intergenerational class is studying Brethren history and teaching.Sunday School

The three adult classes offer several choices. One class follows the Bible study of the International Lesson. One class reads topical Christian books together. They have studied “Respectable Sins: Confronting the sins we tolerate” by Jerry Bridges, and “Making Good Habits” by Joyce Meyer. A third class varies between Bible study and books on various subjects. Some recent books studied are “What is the Least I can Believe and Still be a Christian?” by Martin Thielen, and “The Diamond of Adversity: A Theology of Suffering” by Robert C Palmer and Heather Palmer Welesko.

Nursery care and preschool care are offered. There is a class for elementary school, and a class offered for youth and junior high. At times, all classes meet together to hear outside speakers teach us about interesting subjects. Dick Ocker and Pete Einstein will be our next speakers.
