Pastor Marla *MUTUAL BLESSING : 773 ANNOUNCEMENTS The Quilting Group will be starting a new time for quilting on Tuesdays starting September 15th at 1:00pm. They are inviting anyone who would like to learn to quilt, who are skilled at quilting, or those who just dabble in it to increase their skills and to share the quilter's fellowship time. The Disaster Relief Auction is being held September 25 & 26 at the Lebanon Area Fairgrounds. The committee is asking for donations of baked goods, theme baskets, and auction items. If you have items you could donate, have them at the church Thursday, Sept. 24, and I will deliver them to the Fairgrounds that evening. Thanks for all your help. Evelyn Boyer, Disaster Relief Chairperson Starting in September, the Sonbeam's Class will be studying the book of "Hebrews- Beyond Christianity 101" by Rev. Ed Poling. If you would be interested in learning from this Covenant Bible Study book, please come join us. We will also be preparing theme baskets for Disaster Relief Organization. Starting Sept. 13th at 9:00am, Marla Abe will be teaching a class on "How to Study the Bible For All its Worth." The class will run for 8 weeks. Trudy Donnelly thanks everyone for their prayers, visits, and cards of sympathy during her sister's passing. Annual All-Church Picnic, is being held September 13, after the morning worship service. Bring your tableware and a covered dish. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and drink will be provided by Fellowship & Rec. Commission. 2 jackets and 3 pairs of glasses have been left here for about a month. The glasses are taped to the office mailbox and the coats are hanging in the narthex. If not claimed by Labor Day, they will be donated to SHARE.
