WELCOME (Please complete your Gold Welcome Card at this time so it is ready to place in the offering plate later.) PRELUDE THOUGHT FOR MEDITATION Matthew 6:25 "Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what your will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?" *INVOCATION: O God, from our world of worry and strife, we call on thee. From the ills of mind and body we pray for relief. From the gnawing of uncertainty of the future, deliver us to thoughts of hope. We rejoice in, celebrate, and experience with gratitude - painless and happy days, encouragement received and tasks achieved, work to do, friends to love, loads to lift, hope to share. Amen.1 *CALL TO WORSHIP: One: Our shepherd will supply our needs, Jehovah is His name. All: In pastures fresh, he makes us feed, beside the living stream. One: He brings our wandr'ing spirit back when we forsake His ways. All: And He leads us for his mercy's sake, in paths of truth and grace One: When I walk through the shades of death, thy presence is my stay. All: One word of thy supporting breath drives all my fears away. One: Thy hand, in sight of all my foes, doth still my table spread. All: My cup with blessings overflow, thine oil anoints my head. One: The sure provisions of my God attend me all my days. All: Oh, may thy house be my abode, and all my work be praise." 2 *HYMN: "The King of My Love My Shepherd Is" 170 CHILDREN'S STORY SHARING OF THE COMMUNITY Announcements Joys & Praises Concerns Community Prayer followed by the Lord's Prayer 731 SHARING OUR TITHES & OFFERINGS: You've blessed me with friends and laughter and fun, with rain that's as soft as the light from the sun.
