A TIME FOR PRAYER AND MEDITATION:
"The God of the Bible is a God who, whenever anything needs to be done, searches for a man or woman through whom to do it.  In other words, it would seem that God has a very big stake in our willingness not only to say that we trust and love God, but also to prove that same trust and love in daily service.  God wishes to use human thought, human imagination, human commitment - all our human gifts -in carrying out the divine purpose."  No one has put this more succinctly than St. Augustine of Hippo.  "Without God, we cannot, but without us God will not.  Amen"- Herbert Driscoll
