THOUGHT FOR MEDITATION

A super bowl Sunday for today. A Savior Blessing for every day.

Consider the hype. Live in the Hope!

PRELUDE                                           Lighting the Altar Candles

CALL TO CELEBRATION

One: A super Sunday meets us today. A super Sunday to

help on our way.

ALL:  WE GRUNT, WE GROAN, WE CHEER OUT LOUD

FOR A TEAM THAT IS WINNING, FOR ONE THAT IS

PLOWED!

One:  And the day it does end as the evening is short…

ALL:  AND TOMORROW BEGINS WITHOUT MUCH OF

REPORT.

CONSIDER: And we have come to believe in Christ

Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ…”

*HYMN                                    “To God Be The Glory”                                      102

*INVOCATION PRAYER

SHARING OF OFFERINGS & TITHES

Offertory Thought

One:  We’ve given our best in the “supes” of today, we’ve had

our fill of the world and its say.

ALL:  AND NOW STIRS WITHIN A SPIRIT THAT FILLS, AND

SPECTATOR BECOMES SERVANT TO SHARE AS

GOD WILLS.

One:  We grunt and we groan, and yes, cry out loud

ALL:  BUT ABOVE ALL, GIVE THANKS FOR THE GIVING WE

ARE ALLOWED!

CONSIDER: For through the law, I died to the law, so that

I MIGHT LIVE TO GOD.

THAT IS SOUND.

One: We’ve grunted or cheered as our team has touched down.

ALL: WE STAND UP AND LIVE WITH LIVES NOW

PROFOUND!

One:  Happy Super Bowl.
