ANNOUNCEMENTS

AS OF AUGUST 1ST a Pretzel Container has been placed on the usher's table for the deposit of change. This container will be auctioned off at the Disaster Relief Auction in September at the Lebanon County Fairgrounds on September 24 & 25.  If anyone would like to contribute to the Sonbeam's Class's Theme Basket -"A Day at the Beach," you are welcome to add an item that you think would be helpful at the beach, to the basket in the Sonbeam's Classroom at the back of the sanctuary.  Gloria will be putting one called "A Book Lover's Basket" together. If you would like to add to that one, see Gloria Ramirez with your item. Thanks!

Today, August 29. We are having Martha Schook, from Palmyra, do a vocal workshop from 3-5 and that will be followed by a picnic. Debbie has ordered a cold cuts tray with rolls and condiments.  Please see Debbie if you would like to bring a salad or dessert.  Wednesday evening rehearsals will start on Sept. 1 at 6:45pm.  If you would like to join the choir this year, you are invited to join us.

GRANDPARENT'S DAY IS SEPT. 12, and Music & Worship plans to acknowledge our "Grands." You can help by providing pictures of your grandkids (baby to adult) and their special artwork. A box will be located in the narthex for your submissions (please make sure it is identified so we can return items to you). You can also e-mail photos to Rita Young at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

ONE MORE DAY FOR SEPTEMBER BANNER MAKING:  Monday, August 30 at 6:30. If you are able to help, please see Gloria Ramirez. Bring scissors.

ELDON & PATSY MYERS thank everyone for their cards, phone calls, and most of all, the prayers, not only during the recent passing of Karen Reeder, but the prayers you shared for so many years during her illness.
