This summer has been strange...we go away for this or that, and then come home. I just about get caught up and off I go.
Last week, I was at Camp Eder, our district church camp, and had a great time. I had limited cell phone usage, and I felt strangely disconnected from the world. Was it good or bad to have no international or national news for a week?
But the worst problem has been computer issues. The church computer has been at the repair shop since last Monday. We picked it up on Monday, but it still wasn't working, so back it went on Tuesday. Today I was told they haven't even looked at it yet. So to get computer time, I head to my secretary's office while she is gone. I am realizing I am a computer addict. What I really miss is the instant ability to research!
My first grand daughter (second grandchild) is due on August 14th, so my life is basically on hold for the next few weeks, while we await word. I get to care for my two year old grandson when mom and dad head to the hospital.
Anyhow, that is why my postings have been scarce...
